About us

»There is only one thing in the long run more expensive than education: no education.«

John F. Kennedy

Education and knowledge – both are invaluable when it comes to the development and opportunities of young people. Only through education will they be able to lead a self-determined life.
The Heribert Nasch Foundation supports young people on this journey by giving them access to education and assisting them in their personal development.
Naturally, social need is one of the criteria we use to determine who we can support and to what extent. However, we also place great importance on personal conversations in order to understand not only the concerns but also the potential of each individual. Only when we fully understand these can we provide the best possible help.

The foundation's projects include:

  • We support educational institutions as well as facilities and organisations dedicated to the protection of young people.
  • We promote initiatives aimed at education and training or serving social integration.
  • We award scholarships to pupils and students at selected schools and universities in South Africa.
  • We pursue exclusively and directly charitable, benevolent and ecclesiastical purposes.
  • We use the foundation's funds solely for the purposes set out in the statutes.
  • We act selflessly.
